About Me

I have been an art geek as long as I can remember. I took as many fine art classes as I could in high school and was offered a small scholarship to SCAD (Savannah School of Art and Design) for my portfolio. Alas, the remaining tuition scared me off, but I still managed to nomadically make my way through a couple of great schools, learning graphic design, photography, video, animation, and web design along the way.

Lately, I mostly spend my days doing front end development, but I still geek out about typography, color theory, balance, and other design principles. I am a quick study and learn new things all the time. I learned to knit a few years ago, and find it satisfies the craving to make things with my hands, but is easier to get out and put away than paint. Plus when you finish, you get to wear it!
